Aloha Everyone,
These technicians work hard. It was getting close to lunch hour. As we were noticing a steady flow of customers coming to inquire about their appointments, I asked when they take their lunch hour. They chuckled and said we work for 10 hours a day during weekdays and 12 hours on weekends. They take their lunch break whenever possible.They volunteered that these are all company owned stores. A total of 200 stores as of today all located in The Philippines. Simple build outs, less restrictive requirements for technicians than in some other countries including Canada, United States and Japan.
We stayed at BGC Uptown for lunch. Popular place on the mall ground floor, but service is debatable. After J.J. discovered error on our bill, it took us another 15 minutes to get it corrected. We looked at each other and said so we can add Manam to our “no list.”
NoNo’s Comfort Kitchen & Bakery located just next door is a big contrast. Their service is excellent, food is prepared when the order is placed. NoNo’s blue carry out bag is a simple and elegant marketing tool.
