Aloha Everyone,
The sun was out and we decided to have our lunch at Modern Shanghai located near the BGC High Street area. J.J. and I recall eating at this restaurant before it was converted to Modern Shanghai Dim Sum place.
The place began to fill with holiday diners. Soon our table was surrounded by groups who had pre-order dishes. Our server made a number of errors including bringing our dessert of black beans buci and a bottle of water late. She was multitasking and it showed on her fixed smiling face.
We had our unfinished foods packed to go. The two of us returned to our condo before forecasted rain showers came. Walked over to BGC Uptown Mall to Watami Restaurant. This was unplanned but for our 2 dining out today, both restaurants belong to The Bistro Group. We received senior discount using our US driving license as proof of age.
Finished the day with a total of 5.7 miles.
