Slept In, Leisurely Morning

Aloha Everyone,

We overslept! Woke up at 5:30 am so our breakfast was delayed by an hour. J.J. and I had our “standard” food then quickly got ready to go out. 

I made a short shopping list all of which were easily available at Mercury Drug store. Their salespeople are well trained.  We were out of the store within 10 minutes.

Walked around the Ayala Shopping Mall to get our steps. Typhoon Ying King will be passing northern part of the Philippines. We will not be affected but the weather today was less humid than yesterday.

Our lunch choice of Lartizan was one of the worst. French onion soup photo plus comfortable seating arrangement attracted us. Getting out soup took 30 minutes. J.J.’s spaghetti with shrimp was served cold. My avocado toast came with one poached egg on top. We both stood with plates half full.

Interesting photos of a server changing table clothes, sprayed water then ironed wrinkles. This was done at the dining room.

We fared better for dinner at CONTI. Fresh Filipino banana hearts lumpia, baked salmon with green salad and Spanish rice for J.J. Small Halo Halo was excellent but made with condensed milk which I finished. It was not a good healthy choice.
