Aloha Everyone,
According to today’s weather forecast, it was to be 50% chance of rain by noon. This is due to super typhoon Usagi passing close to Metro Manila.J.J. was optimistic that there will be 50% that it would not rain. So off we walked to BGC High Street to run a couple of errands.
At 11:30am, it was not yet raining. But the humidity was so high that we took a taxi back to our hotel. The taxi driver asked 150 peso, more than double the metered price. He was a happy man. As we got off, a potential rider came into the cab.
The two of us crossed the street to Mitsukoshi Mall for lunch. Heavy rain poured shortly after we sat down in a Chinese restaurant. Streets were inundated and there were water puddles on sidewalks but we were able to avoid rain by lingering after our lunch.

Healthy, delicious meals and with a 32% discount (20% for seniors, 12% VAT). We will probably dine once a week.
