Focusing on Condo Unit Search

Aloha Everyone,

Started my day with a high protein loaded breakfast. J.J. had a Filipino breakfast with arroz caldo, omelet, yogurt & fruits.

Walked to check out a couple of condos in the Mitsukoshi Mall neighborhood. Farther from our current location but a very nice, quieter area. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby make it a good option.

Went to CZARINA Money Changer to change some left-over euros, pounds, NZ dollars, US dollars and Australian dollars. Currency exchanges have strict guidelines. It took more than an hour. They had to make photocopy of JJ’s passport and for each currency, he had to sign a receipt.

While I waited for J.J., I noticed movie posters on the hallway walls. Films on Halloween and Christmas were prevalent.

Japanese food lunch in Mitsukoshi Mall. Our 4 course Executive Meal included drinks, complimentary Japanese tea, chawanmushi (steamed egg-based custard), gyoza, rice and noodle soup. It came out US$35 for the two of us.

Dinner at Italiani, another one of our favorite places for a light pasta meal. The quality is always reliable. With the senior discount offered to local and visiting seniors, our food cost again was US$35 for the two of us.

Aloha -- Cathi
