Aloha Everyone,
Spent the morning getting together with Joett, Larry & Maureen in two different coffee shops at SALT in Kakaako. With Gordon, we proceeded to Starbucks before the three of us joined George Vozikis for lunch at Highway Inn. J.J. had his regular plate lunch that included pork laulau, lomi salmon, Okinawan sweet potatoes and haupia. My chicken laulau and haupia were delicious!
Back to the ship to take a short nap before we met Jeff and Jenny for dinner. Mara located in the lobby of the Renaissance hotel is newly opened and doing brisk business. Sharing wonderful meals with our children made it a perfect Honolulu visit.
Talk about great timing, Hawaiian local dance troop were concluding their only show in the Princess Theatre. I was able to walk up the stairs, snap a couple of shots before the audience disbursed.
