Aloha Everyone,
There are at least 3 dim sum restaurants we have spotted so far. They open either at 11:30 am or 12:00 noon. The one we selected for lunch served great Hong Kong style Dim Sum. Unfortunately only one man spoke English. All others are probably from the mainland. They no longer speak English in Hong Kong.
We chose 5 dishes and they were delicious! Both of us thought the pan fried shrimp and green vegetarian pot stickers with subtle flavors were perfect. Yes my favorite dessert was amazing!!!
Our room at Marco Polo Hotel is on the 17th Executive Floor. J.J. had reserved a King size bed with a harbor view and step in shower. But by the time we checked in, there was no room with shower. Our upgraded room has no view but it is very quiet and spacious. The weather has been muggy. Perhaps we are not missing much.
Complimentary coffees, bottled water, shoe shine services are also available.
For dinner, we again looked for something hot and tasty. We found a Japanese noodle place with a Chinese twist.
