Aloha everyone,
Tolerable powdered coffee provided by the hotel and purchased croissants for our breakfast. Briefly spoke with Jeff.Today’s weather is suppose to be sunny until 11:00 am and then we could expect heavy clouds. Decided to wear my light windbreaker, gloves and baseball cap :-)
Our room on the 4th level of the building has a nice view looking towards the ocean.
A soprano was singing popular show tunes on the downtown promenade. We gave our donation and wished her luck. She had a signage showing her name, Nancy Longland, contact info on Facebook, and other social media. She was good, but not spectacular. I wonder if her motive is to be discovered by talents agents.
When J.J. saw roast ducks in the restaurant window, I knew our lunch was going to be Chinese food. M. Dim Sum, an unusual name had excellent dishes. The duck and congee were especially good compared to what they serve onboard the cruise ship. I also enjoyed the Jasmine tea served hot. Our total bill was US $52.95. This is comparable to what we pay for good Chinese food in California.
