Aloha Everyone,
A huge disappointment. All of their ads and literature featured the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphs and other iconic sites of Paris. No Paris. This announcement came via the Wake Show televised into our stateroom.The reason given was due to the upcoming Olympic Games. Since some of the events actually take place on the main boulevard, Olympic organizers are securing areas to make sure there won’t be any mishaps that includes cleaning dog feces off pavement.
We paid $19.95 per person and took a shuttle bus to the center of Le Havre. The Le Havre we saw could be any big modern European city.
The weather was sunny and a perfect day to sit around at outdoor cafes sipping coffee.
Our French dinner menu included Bouillabaisse and crêpe. Tres bien :-)
