Aloha Everyone,
After making the final visit to our storage locker and storing Honu, we were on our way to the cruise terminal. The Uber driver was pleasant and chatty, but as we approached Sapphire Princess, a long traffic line to the luggage drop off lost his composure. More than once, he mentioned that this was a losing ride for him and appealed to us to give him a generous tip.Once on board, we deposited our backpacks and proceeded to the International Dining Room for lunch. Miguel saw us and greeted us warmly. So many familiar faces of staff and passengers. It is as if we‘ve never been away. Even the same captain, Todd McBain from last year’s South Pacific and Hawaiian cruise.
West watched the Tom Simmons comedy show at the Princess Theater. Some funny lines and we rated him one thumb up.
Happy to be back on board. We went to bed by 9:00 pm. Captain announced that passengers should expect rough weather with high swells and pitching.
