Aloha Everyone,
Another glorious driving day. The two of us are truly enjoying ourselves. J.J. even said that he is really loving this chance to drive Honu. Seeing signages of Utah’s Mighty Five, we reminisced how fortunate we are to have visited all of them. I am motivated to do some sketches once we are settled in one place.Lupita’s Mexican Restaurant is located in Cedar City. This family owned place offers truly homemade food. It is worth making Lupita’s as a destination! J.J. had an enchilada plate and I ordered a vegetarian burrito. Helped myself to black beans and the complimentary Mexican chips and dips were consistently good.
Arrived at La Quinta in St George. Roads to this place taking roundabouts is confusing.
For dinner, J.J. chose Rusty Crab Daddy on the main business road of the city. Cajun style seafood including shrimps, fish, rice and sides of calamari and mushrooms were good but spicy and heavy.
It was 67 degrees when we finished our dinner. Today, J.J. drove 350 miles with varying outside temperatures of freezing to 78 degrees. Surrounded by red rocks, La Quinta in St George is in picture perfect site.
Aloha -- Cathi
