Walking Around and Getting Lost

Aloha Everyone,

Our dear friends sent us information about food borne diseases and food poisoning. J.J. and I are always cautious, but they recommend that we refrain from eating uncooked vegetables and fruits including salads. Furthermore, they suggest that we only drink commercial bottled water directly from the bottle — with no ice.

The two of us walked around the Ayala Tech Park which are connected via basement passages. Trying to find safe food outlets took some time to get our directions right. The positive is that we ended up walking 4.7 miles or 12,459 steps.

Decision on purchasing fruits with peels is excellent idea. I had a couple of finger-sized bananas and very ripe and sweet Cebu mango. Just to be cautious, I used gentle soap to wash peels prior to eating. My first Philippine mango on this trip :-)
