This unique restaurant was the venue for Marita’s birthday party. Located in the historic Nielson Tower at Ayala Triangle. The site was once the Philippine’s first commercial airport.
Blackbird restaurant has been redeveloped retaining the original art deco design. With so much history and stories woven into this charming place, J.J. and I will revisit to take photos and experience its unique past.
In Makati, I saw people wearing thick sweaters and hoodies with shorts. Some had snow cap with ear hoods. January is usually the coolest month. J.J. timed our 3 months visit to the Philippines before the weather becomes hot and humid.
