Aloha Everyone,
Japan Town & Korea Town are located a few steps from the Holiday Inn Express. They are local tourist attractions but not much more than occupying a square. Walkways to Japan Town are adorned with plastic cherry blossoms as well as the center stage where DJs play music and teenagers gather to dance.Entry to Korea Town is through a Korean style gate. Compared to Japan Town where there’re 9 operating restaurants, Korea Town has 3 restaurants plus a Korean Coffee shop and a photogenic Korean architecture.
What caught my eye was a family all dressed in traditional Korean costumes strolling around. The mother and her three daughters walked around with her husband taking photos. About 2 hours later, I saw them walking into a store. It was a Korean costume rental company with a store opening promo price of 150 peso per two hours rental.
