Aloha Everyone,
Attended a Destination Presentation on Fiji for both Suva and Dravuni Island. The two of us don’t know much about Fiji but we are curious to see this island nation where our friends Devika and Marshuk spent several years before Marshuk joined the Asia Development Bank.
Captain’s announcement was solemn, but with optimism. Due to a category 2 cyclone, Majestic Princess, a sister ship to Sapphire Princess, was unable to visit both of the destinations in Fiji. Torrential rain, drenched the islands and caused damage. However, by the time we arrive, two days later, the Sapphire Princess will be able to land.
