Aloha Everyone,
In today’s consumerism society where each person seems isolated and uninvolved, J.J. alerted me to this truly feel good story.Richard Brooks, a retired attorney wanted to start a group to go to breakfast. It’s a simple concept. His group goes to an IHOP on Saturday morning. Richard Brooks will pay for the breakfast - coffee, pancakes and eggs. Each has to bring $100 to tip the waiter. Having just one waiter to serve the group, the tip is substantial. The story described that on Saturday morning at IHOP in Norwood, MA, the tip to their waiter was $1,500.
Simple idea but for Richard Brooks, he is making friends. There are others who are also interested in duplicating this model using IHOP as their venue as well.
Aloha -- Cathi
