Princess Cays

Aloha Everyone,

Princess Cays is an exclusive port of call & private beach on the Southern portion of Elenthera in the Bahamas. The island is only 100 miles long & 2 miles wide. 

Average temperature is between 75 degrees to 91 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer and a more pleasant 65 degrees to 77 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter months.

To go ashore, we took a water shuttle service. Guests who are confined to wheelchairs and motorized scooters were prohibited from going. The two of us witnessed a couple of passengers who were assisted by their friends and the ship’s crew to standup and step across the gangway.

White sandy beach was inviting but to access the water, one has to walk through rough black corals. 

J.J. and I spent about 30 minutes on the island. To beat the crowd of returning fellow passengers, we were back on the Emerald Princess for an early lunch.
