Passenger Observation

Aloha Everyone,

Cruisers wear what could be classified as gaudy attires. Many like to put on shiny stars and sparkling clothes. This applies not just to females but males as well. On “Formal Evenings”, the atmosphere is like a carnival.

With 2,900 passengers on this cruise, some try really hard to make themselves stand out. One of the objectives for a single person is to meet people, make new friends and live happily ever after.

One woman’s hairdos is an eye catcher. She is a professional hairdresser and prepares her hair with an elaborate hairdo prior to getting on a ship. She told me that her actual hair is only 1-1.2 inches but with the extension it is difficult to tell.

Another woman wears different hats every day to match her outfit. She told me that she collects hats and has over 40 assortment of colors and sizes. I asked her how many did she bring on this cruise. Her response was all of them.  She has a hat box which is designed to fold her hats and stack them up. On this trip, she purchased two new ones in Panama. Her daily selection of hat makes her happy.
