Visit to Laguna Woods Village

Aloha Everyone,

My sister invited me to go along to visit her friend, Janet at Laguna Woods Village. We took a scenic drive weaving in and out of the Pacific Coast Highway. It was a beautiful day for driving. It took us 3 hours to reach our destination, but the time gave two of us a chance to catch up.

Funny how places often resembles other cities and countries we’ve been to. For example, both of us agreed that driving along the Pacific Ocean reminded us of the Oregon Coast, British Colombia and so on.

Janet loves her life at Laguna Woods. An independent woman who expressed her joy of living in a gated community where one can engage in different activities everyday.

The three of us had a lunch at one of the club houses where dishes are offered at very reasonable prices. Being Saturday and at lunch time, parking was a bit of a challenge.

On our return, my sister decided to take I-95 Freeway cutting our driving time by 2 hours. Our outing was very enjoyable but tiring. I slept two hours upon return and then slept 8 more hours, making up for my lost hours since our return.
