Today’s takeout lunch cane from a Filipino restaurant that had a large selection of glutinous rice-based food items.We purchased two suman and noodles.
Preparation of suman is done in two steps. First, rice is cooked in coconut milk. Then they are made into cone shapes, wrapped in fresh banana leaves and steamed. Green tint, according to an online recipe, comes from lime water used to cook the rice.

Interesting dishes, but J.J. and I decided to stay with our tried and tested usual takeout places including Seafood Supermarket.
