Nipples National Archeological Museum

Aloha Everyone,

National Archeological Museum is one of the major attractions in Naples. This museum showcases some of the important works from Greek, Roman and Renaissance periods. Of particular interest are the remains of Roman artifacts from the nearby Pompeii and other excavation sites.

First Sunday of a month, museums are open to public for free. The two of us took a taxi and was quickly admitted.  Avoiding eager local family visitors, J.J. and I moved about swiftly trying to take in as much of the permanent exhibition being conscious to maintain safe distances. As always, we consistently kept our masks on including crossing streets to a taxi stand.

Today’s brief visit to Naples was a vast difference from our previous stay when the city looked more welcoming. We

missed the bright sun, fragrant flowers and happy, mask less people cheerfully greeting visitors.

Aloha -- Cathi
