Aloha Everyone,
The two of us were seated in an outdoor restaurant. On our right were a couple from Sweden. On our left were a family of 4 from Germany. Behind us were a group of excited students from France. Common language being used with restaurant staff was English. We’ve often met Europeans who can make easy conversation in at least 2-3 languages.People who are in tourism industries often are polyglots. They feel at ease and seamlessly move from one language to another. A neighbor in Hawaii used to greet me in multiple languages. However, our conversations were limited.
A carpet cleaner’s unusual hyper polyglot brain is under study, J.J. and I hope that his talent will bring him much success and satisfaction.
