Civitavecchia (Rome) Day 2

Aloha Everyone,

I always enjoy visiting museums including this small, quaint archaeological museum located in Civitavecchia.

There were two other couples during our 30 minutes stay. They could’ve been students on assignment. Carefully reading each label, taking notes and photographs, it was interesting to observe them.

Julio had mentioned that this museum is one of the few places in Italy that is still free, but that was pre-pandemic information.  As soon as the two of us ascended the first stone steps, an attendant ran behind the counter and asked us to pay 3 euros each. We were happy to help the local economy.

Aloha -- Cathi
