St. Thomas US Virgin Islands

Aloha Everyone,

The Caribbean region is mostly located on the Caribbean plate. There are more than 700 islands, inlets, reefs and cays.

Serene views of lush green hills and numerous yachts and sailboats greeted us as our ship sailed into the port. The island’s economy is heavily depended on the cruising industry. Today there were 3 passenger ships visiting, including Enchanted Princess.

Our timing in taking a break at Wendy’s was perfect. We witnessed a torrential rain fall that drenched everything and left water puddles in its wake. WiFi was spotty but we are happy to be able to speak with Jeff and send our recent blogs.

Today’s walking adventure enabled us to find a supermarket where we replenished our provisions. It should last us until we reach Spain in about 3 weeks' time.
