Citizens are protesting about mask mandates. There is conflicting information regarding what kind of masks to wear. For some of us, including J.J., wearing masks continuously even for a couple of hours causes skin rashes.It used to be that a blue triple layered surgical mask was considered acceptable in most places. The new guideline by the cruise travel industry is KN-95 or N-95. From my personal experience, N-95 mask is not at all comfortable. The two of us have an adequate number of blue surgical masks which I wear beneath a KN-95. Waiting for clear guideline before we can purchase additional supplies.
