Aloha Everyone,
Through early morning thick low lying fog, J.J. drove a total of 4 hours and 30 minutes round trip to San Diego. With the exception of a 40 minutes visit with our daughter-in-law and granddaughter, plus two 10 minutes breaks on the road, J.J. was behind the wheel the entire duration.
The visit was absolutely wonderful. Our granddaughter had much to share with us about her school, classes, friends, music, movies, books, Tang Soo Do and life! It is gratifying to see her and be a part of her life even though we are physically apart. The delicious Unagi bento (Japanese eel rice box) our daughter-in-law prepared for us, plus chocolates and dessert — our visit was perfect! We must pay a return visit soon to see our son who was at work.
