Transition Time

Aloha Everyone,

We are leaving Naxos. This morning we sent out two loads of laundry.

J.J. and I took our morning stroll on the causeway to the Temple of Apollo. Since I’ve done this walk so many times, I know where the stones are cracked and uneven. Today, there were a large group of French tourists debating whether to swim or not.

The weather is beautiful, sunny at 72 degrees. We decided to eat at one of the two restaurants which we’ve not tried before. The owner was extremely happy to see us.

Our choice was a traditional Greek salad and fried Calamari with French fries. The owner treated us to a complimentary milk pie, which tasted a little like custard. He was clearly disappointed when we told him that the two of us are leaving for Rhodes tomorrow.
