Aloha Everyone,
After two months of eating mostly Greek and Italian food, J.J. was super delighted to discover a Thai restaurant. Dishes he ordered included duck, hot & sour soup, spring rolls, a noodle dish plus a bowl of steamed rice.
It is actually a large eatery with Japanese, Chinese, Greek, steak, seafood and American, in addition to Thai cuisine. This conglomerate of restaurants is located only 10 minutes away from our hotel. I am sure that we will be going back multiple times.
Our initial goal for today was to visit the Rodos (Rhodes) Aquarium located at a promontory. The area has a beach that is popular for tourists who come to Rhodes for the surf and sea. Today, only one hotel looked open. The remainder closed end of the summer tourist season.
The aquarium is small with very few displays. We only saw one other visitor. After paying the €7 entrance fee, a slow walk, the two of us were out the door in less than 5 minutes.
Aloha -- Cathi
