Aloha Everyone,
J.J. counted about 40 restaurants just outside of the main boulevard from our hotel. Decisions on what to have for lunch and dinner is a delightful daily occurrence. Seafood tops our list then Greek salad and sometimes a third dish like risotto.
Residents and tourists are constantly reminded that water is limited on the Cycladic Islands. Hotels change sheets and towels every 3 days as a conservation method. We recall Dora, our tour guide on Paros, mentioned that she, like most of us, purchase bottled drinking water which are reasonably priced. For cooking, Dora stated that she uses boiled tap water. Most of the water is produced by desalination plants.
