Aloha everyone,
Generally speaking, tropical rains in Hawaii are warm and refreshing. One is happy to get rained on. The sun dries you and your clothes when it reappears.
Not so in Guadalajara. For dinner, we walked to the supermarket for some food including fresh fruits for me. It was cool and overcast when we arrived but after 15 minutes of shopping, we stepped out to a totally different weather. By the time we walked 2 short city blocks, J.J. and I were drenched. Imagine this funny scene. A woman trying to sell umbrellas as people rushed by her. Rain drops were large, sharp and pelting us from all angles. Even those who were carrying umbrellas weren’t protected. I guess one might say that it was raining cats and dogs.
Rainy weather is forecasted for the next 10 days. Wish we could share this tropical weather with people in Californians whose forest are scorched and ravaged by fires.
