Partial Good News

Aloha Everyone,

J.J. has been discharged from the hospital and is back at the hotel for a few days. Jeff’s presence has been very helpful. Partial good news is the MRI indicates the cancer has not metastasized. Liver mass may not be related. J.J.’s current thinking is getting the surgery in Ecuador then any follow up treatment such as chemotherapy in San Diego. 

He is in good spirit and physically stronger after the 4 pints of blood transfusion.There are multiple issues to consider before making a decision. The latest is Ecuador declared full lockdown and curfews this weekend. Even grocery stores are closed. Weekdays, many businesses can open, but there is an evening curfew.

Our meeting with the doctors to review the pathological report is on Monday. Thereafter, we will make a decision.
