Aloha Everyone,
Less than a week after we cheered the drugmaker Pfizer’s announcement of a COVID-19 vaccine, today, the second drugmaker, Moderna released their vaccine news. Moderna, an American technology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts said that their COVID-19 vaccine was 94.5% effective.
These are truly encouraging news as competition will improve outcomes of their research. There are several other drugmakers working on the project which we hope will translate to making the vaccine available and affordable to anyone who is interested in getting it.
With this positive news, the NY Stock Market hit the all time record high with DOW making the fastest recovery from a bear market in 30 years.
