The truth is when travel channels, online destination guides and numerous YouTube posts suggest places to go and things to experience, they often exclude mentioning some of the challenges western travelers encounter. Challenges includes how many hours it takes you to get there. Challenges includes the quality of transportation as some areas require getting off an air conditioned tourist bus, get on tricycles or proceeding on foot. Challenges include the cost for hiring a qualified and trustworthy tour guide who will return you back to the safety of your cruise ship on time.
Based on Sapphire Princess handouts, there are warnings about several issues including personal safety, air quality, thefts and pickpockets. We decided to remain on board and enjoy a relaxing day.
