Mexican Avocados

Aloha Everyone,

What happens if the US border with Mexico is closed? Everyday about 1,000 long-haul trucks cross the border. Additionally, 11 freight trains bring in fresh farm produces, automotive parts and other industrial equipment that are manufactured in Mexico. Thousands of Americans and Mexican nationals cross the border. If the US/Mexico border is shut down, the end result could be catastrophic. It could cause 5 million American jobs. This is a high stake threat with potentially massive layoffs and economic consequences.

On a very personal note, I stocked up on avocados from Mexico. I learned that fresh avocados can actually be frozen with the skin intact. The end result is while the fruits could lose its soft and creamy consistency, freezing would not diminish its nutritional value. I usually consume one avocado a day! Ahh, stocking up is a wonderful solution.
