Aloha Everyone,
The one week visit with our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter was, as always, at a whirlwind pace. It was an exceptionally busy week, especially for our granddaughter. Aside from her regular school days, she had a science fair project to submit. Her subject matter on machine learning was cutting edge research and I found it informative.
Our granddaughter attended her Tang Soo Do practice, a flute practice and recital, Annie’s Trail Hike with friends, and she still found time to make paper airplanes which we flew at a neighborhood park. We read books and drew pictures together. And yes, we also engaged in pillow fights!
“Dance Dance Revolution” released in North America in 1999 is considered a pioneering series of the rhythm and dance genre in video games. You stand on a "dance platform" and step on colored arrows to music and visual cues. Our granddaughter is athletic, young, nimble and she has had a lot more practice than me. My goal was simply to stay on my pad and try to do better than “E”, the lowest score. Irregardless of my poor performances, it is an excellent workout. After 30 minutes, I needed a very hot shower.
We had a back-to-back movie dates at home on Saturday and Sunday. Her choice were Toy Story 1 & 2.
Aloha -- Cathi
