Aloha Everyone,
Prior to our visit, what J.J. and I knew of the Dominican Republic is that it is a Caribbean nation sharing the island of Hispaniola with Haiti. Perhaps due to its boarder sharing with Haiti, our perception of the country was not very positive.
After spending a day, we genuinely came away admitting how wrong we were and impressed with its economy, political system, health and education programs. Untimely, my iPhone stopped functioning just as we docked and it did not rebooted itself until the following day. Fortunately, I did manage to capture the following 5 images.
