Tucson Premium Outlets & Tucson Mall

Aloha Everyone,

Taking advantage of a couple of malls located near the RV park, we decided to remain one more night. Tucson Premium Outlets located in Mariana Canter just off I-10 proudly promotes itself as the newest shopping and holiday destination. The Ritz Carlton leads the list of accommodations.

More than 80 stores attract shoppers where many were advertising up to 75% off after holiday sales. Retailers have to be profitable. So you stop and wonder what maybe their normal margin of profitability.

At VF Outlet store, we were asked if we would like to join their membership program to take advantages of their incentive program. When J.J. replied that it would not apply to us as we are full time travelers, Sheila, who was helping by us called out to her colleagues. Enthusiastic and friendly trio smiled for me. From left, Paige, Sheila and Evelyn.

Cheesecake Factory located in the Tucson Mall was our lunch choice.

J.J.'s pasta with shrimp and sausage was good but we both agreed and shared my hot and savory mushroom soup which was absolutely delicious. A large salad with generous serving of blue cheese dressing was packed for our dinner!

Diesel #2 price of $2.49 per gallon is almost $.30 cheaper than California. While the price of oil is increasing, the two of us are wondering how much lower fuel prices would be in Texas.

Aloha -- Cathi
