Aloha Everyone,
J.J. and I stopped at the Triple T Trucker Stop. A looming advertising sign read "Omar's Hi-way Chef Restaurant. A choice for everyone's taste." http://omarshiwaychef.com/
Stepping through the main door, there was a retail store, arrow leading to restrooms, showers, barber shop, beauty shop, and a motel for truckers.
The center section of the restaurant is reserved for truckers in a hurry. The service was friendly and efficient, but what took me by surprise was how large the individual servings are. J.J. reminded me that the restaurant relies on truckers' repeat business and they expect quality food in large quantities. Profits come from diesel sales. Our waitress suggested that next time to order one dish for us to share so that we will have a room for one of their delicious desserts!
Magic Circle RV Park online ad reads "The Best Overnight RV Park on I-10." The two of us along with other RVers who pulled in at about the same time certainly concur with the claim. The owners, John and Kim seem to enjoy their work of welcoming travelers to their RV park. www.magiccirclerv.com
Some Walmart stores are classified as "Super Walmart". What a joy to find one on the road. I stacked up on fresh fruits and vegetables including huge succulent juicy Heirloom tomatoes from San Diego!
Aloha -- Cathi
