Junior Ranger National Park Program

Aloha Everyone,

The Junior Ranger Program is offered at most of the national parks. The program Invites the youngest visitors to become a member and provides opportunities to explore and learn about their national parks.

Currently, there are over 200 Junior Ranger Programs by the National Park Service. In each of these parks, children are given a Junior Ranger booklet and a list of tasks to complete. They are then sworn in as Junior Rangers. The children receive a special certificate and official Junior Ranger badge.

One can also purchase a "passport" and get it stamped at national park visitor center. J.J. and I've so far visited 30 national parks and 15 national monuments. Belatedly I found out that I too can become a Junior Ranger! There is no age limit!
