Julie Lyrhcott-Haims made an excellent, dynamic, memorable presentation on TED Talk. The subject was based on her book, "How to Raise an Adult: Break Free of the Over-Parenting Trap and Prepare Your Kid for Success.
TED Talk is new to J.J. and me as we do not usually watch Television. The program showcases speakers presenting great, well-formed ideas in under 18 minutes.
TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas. Began in 1984 at a conference of Technology, Entertainment and Design. The TV program covers almost all topics in more than 100 languages from science to business to global issues.
J.J. and I chose El Pollo Inka, a Peruvian Restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. My Maricos presented in 3 skewers and J.J.'s Maricos with Rice were excellent. Spicy taste of my food was nicely complimented by the rich Peruvian flan we shared.
