Aloha Everyone,
On our most recent road trip with Honu, J.J. and I travelled 5,778 miles in 40 days. After a brief stop in Las Vegas to celebrate my Mother's birthday, our adventure took us mainly to the following states: South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Colorado. Our final leg took us to the south-western part of Utah before driving back to California via Arizona and Nevada.
Meeting our good friends, Jim and Kay in Encinitas, on route to my Mother's home was a wonderful and perfect way to conclude this segment of our road adventure.
In her garden, my Mother invited us to pick ripe persimmon and grapes. Bright flowers of Jerusalem artichoke plants are thriving with promise of healthy roots that would be ready for harvesting when we return from our trip to Italy. Life is great!
