Traversing the Cowboy State

Aloha Everyone,

Wyoming is defined by vast and endless plains and the Rocky Mountains. There are two famous national parks: Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The Devil's Tower is also famous but it is a national monument.

We stopped at Rawlins for lunch. A small western town with a population of less than 10,000, J.J. drove from one end of town to the other including the old historic downtown area.

We settled for Cappy's Restaurant named after Cappy Kramer the original owner who established this family diner over 30 years ago. Today, his daughter runs the business. Robin, our server was very efficient and super busy serving a steady flow of diners.

Tonight we are staying at a KOA Campground in Cheyenne, the capitol of Wyoming. The place is fully booked, but the owner kindly offered us a space where a tent camper would normally use. We have no electric or water hookups.

Aloha -- Cathi
