Aloha Everyone,
My Mother invited us to attend the annual picnic of Kumamoto Kenjin Kai (Group of people who have some sort of link to the Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan.)
George Belliis Park, a 22-acres park in Buena Park has been the venue for the past 5 years. The main pavilion was reserved about 6 months ago and the cost for using the site is $150 payable to the city of Buena Park. George Bellis Park is well-maintained and family friendly. It includes 5 lighted ball fields, lighted basketball courts, children's play area, picnic areas with a BBQs, 4 lighted tennis courts and a dog park, just to name a few.
As with any successful picnic, there was a huge amount of tasty food to satisfy everyone.
Aloha -- Cathi
