Aloha Everyone,
Drawing has always been one of my passions. As an art student, I worked in various medium such as oil, watercolor, pastel, charcoal, acrylic, and pen & ink. However drawing or doing quick sketch using a set of color pencils is easy and more suitable to our present lifestyle.
Our family in La Jolla surprised me with a gift of Derwent Ink Pencils. These pencil leads are soft and glides on paper as if it's skimming on water. By using a wet brush, I can "wake up" colors or blend them to the subtlest shades of the original colors.
My granddaughter has the same set. I promised her that I will take it along with me to Budapest so I can sketch some of the amazing sights to share with her.
