Congested Stressful Driving In Southern California

Aloha Everyone,

J.J. cringes whenever we are on our way back to California. Don't get us wrong! California is where my parents and I were born. San Francisco is where my parents met. And it was in Los Angeles, where J.J. and I started to date as college freshmen. We got married in California and both of our sons as well as our granddaughter are native Californians. What creates problems is the road system.

According to a report released by Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A&M University, seven of the top 10 most congested corridors are in Southern California. As a result, this is one of the biggest fuel wasting regions in America.

J.J. and I plan to spend the summer vacation months in the northwest states avoiding the horrendous traffics in California.

Aloha -- Cathi
