Aloha Everyone,
Whenever our granddaughter is not physically active, we find her with her favorite books. She also enjoys being read to. Our son is a great story teller and a reader as he can change his voice to illustrate different characters and make them come alive.
Her current story time books are Terry Pratchett's, "The Shepherder's Crown" and Douglas Adams, "The More Than Complete Hitchhikers' Guide." These fantasy writers are also my favorite authors and I enjoyed joining in on their story time and watch her reactions.
This evening was spent with the two of us engaged in pillow fights, dancing, singing and of course yoga -- allowing me to truly appreciate innocent, vibrant company of a young child.
