Lunch at Szechwan Chinese Restaurant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Aloha Everyone,

We left Welcome, Minnesota and drove about 93 miles to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. For the most part, southern Minnesota is farmland and of moderate elevation.

Downtown Sioux Falls was very charming.

There weren't that many dining choices for lunch, other than fast food places such as Taco Time, McDonald's and Burger King. Fortunately, we found the Szechwan Chinese Restaurant which advertises Hunan, Szechwan and Cantonese style food.

Shrimp with snow peas

Mongolian beef were served with a bowl of fried rice and white steamed rice.

Our bill came out to be $27 inclusive of tax, service & tip.

KOA campground in Mitchell is Honu's home for the next three nights. As with many RV parks in Canada and northern United Stares, the place will close at end of the month. Jerry who has owned this RV park for the past 10 years said that he will go to Arizona and stay there until April.

While J.J. enjoyed his fried chicken dinner purchased from a deli in town, I prepared myself a plate of cucumber, baby spinach, avocado with steamed sweet potato and almond milk.

Aloha -- Cathi
