Michigan has over 11,000 inland lakes and more shoreline than any other state excluding Alaska. The state ranks first in boat registrations and offers the opportunity for people to live along lakes.
Jeff and Laura have their home by the water. Our visit gave us a chance to catch up and compare notes on our travel experiences.
We passed by such whimsical and enchanting named towns like Kalamazoo.
Apple Creek Campground and RV Park is our choice for the night. Located between Green Bay and Appleton in Grass Lake, it took us about 30 minutes to find the place using SIRI.
Most of the 150 sites are empty. We are discovering that in this part of the country, our choices of RV parks diminishes after Labor Day.
