We experienced a misty, chilly, rainy morning, but our spirits were high as we explored a new route in Washington State.
We had a relaxing picnic lunch at a Rest Area with tall pine trees. J.J. and I even took advantage of the cool weather and temporary break of rain to get our walking exercise.
Driving by downtown Seattle, we experienced some traffic.
We are staying at a KOA RV park in Burlington. It's only about 3 1/2 miles off I-5 but the park is located in a forested area with tall fir trees. The site is very quiet and private. However, downside is that our AT&T service does not work and the park's free WiFi connection is unreliable and sporadic.
J.J. and I attended the ice cream social this evening. For $2.00 per person, we were served root beer float. From left to right Howard, Eric (son) and Sunny, owners of this KOA franchise. Debbie and R.J. are from California and they are doing work-camping.
J.J. and I also had an enjoyable conversation with Carol and Stuart. The latter is originally from London and still retains his charming British accent.
