Today we took another new road for Honu. We drove on I-40 N from Barstow to Needles.
Unable to find interesting restaurants along the way, J.J. and I prepared our picnic lunch in Honu. J.J. had pastrami and roast beef with vegetables and sparkling water while mine was heavy on the green accompanied by almond milk.
After nearly 7 hours on the road. We arrived at our destination, Lake Havasu. It is a large reservoir created by Parker Dam on the Colorado River. The lake a popular site for water sports including boating.
